Ollie’s Angels Animal Welfare Society rescues at-risk shelter dogs, supports pet owners in crisis, and empowers communities through education and compassionate outreach.

Mission

Ollie’s Angels Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals and the people who care for them through rescue, education, and community support.

What began as an outreach and education initiative has grown into a foster-based dog rescue and Los Angeles County adoption partner, working to save at-risk dogs from overcrowded shelters while also helping pet owners access the resources they need to keep their animals safe and cared for.

Our mission focuses on three key areas:

Rescue & Placement
We work with local shelters to rescue at-risk dogs and place them into foster homes where they can receive care, training, and stability while waiting for their forever families.

Community Support & Intervention
We help pet owners access critical resources—including low-cost spay/neuter services, veterinary care, training support, and financial assistance—so families can keep the pets they love and avoid surrendering them to shelters.

Education & Outreach
Through humane education, adoption counseling, and community partnerships, we aim to promote responsible pet ownership and strengthen the human–animal bond.

By focusing on prevention, rescue, and collaboration, we work to reduce shelter overcrowding, support responsible pet guardianship, and create sustainable pathways for saving lives.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every animal is treated with compassion and respect, and where neglect, abandonment, and suffering are no longer the norm.

Our goal is to build communities where pets and people are supported, where education and access to resources prevent unnecessary surrender, and where animal rescue is a collaborative effort rooted in compassion.
